Job summary
A manufacturing company in Kirkby-in-Ashfield is seeking motivated Chemical Production Operatives for a fast-paced environment. Key responsibilities include operating machinery, handling raw materials safely, and performing quality checks. Ideal candidates will have experience in a chemical or manufacturing setting and a strong commitment to safety. This role offers a pay rate of £12.21 per hour with opportunities for overtime.
Qualifications
- Experience in a chemical or manufacturing environment preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
- Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
- Physically fit and able to work in a demanding environment.
- Willingness to work shifts and overtime if required.
Responsibilities
- Operating machinery and equipment in line with production requirements.
- Handling and mixing raw materials according to strict safety protocols.
- Monitoring production processes and recording data.
- Performing quality checks and reporting any issues.
- Maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
- Following all health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Running the line/covering supervisor as and when needed.

You’ll play a key role in the production of high-quality chemical products used across various industries.
- Operating machinery and equipment in line with production requirements
- Handling and mixing raw materials according to strict safety protocols
- Monitoring production processes and recording data
- Performing quality checks and reporting any issues
- Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
- Following all health, safety, and environmental regulations
- Running the line/covering supervisor as and when needed
- Previous experience in a chemical or manufacturing environment preferred
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
- Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
- Physically fit and able to work in a demanding environment
- Willingness to work shifts and overtime if required
- Monday to Friday; 0600 - 1400 and 1400 - 2200 (you will be required to work on a rotating shift depending on client requirements)
- Pay rate is £12.21 per hour with a chance of working overtime on Saturdays at time and a half per hour.
