Overview

SF Recruitment is recruiting for a Closing Room Operative/ Production Operative to work for a client that upholds the highest standards and levels of craftsmanship and design in the creation of hand‑made shoes and boots. The role is based in Northampton and is on a day shift with an early finish on a Friday.

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be involved in the manufacture of high‑end shoes. The role includes punching holes into leather with precision and selecting the right size and shape according to the work sheet. Training and support will be provided to ensure the proper actions are being used. The candidate will work both as part of a team and on an individual basis to meet daily and weekly targets while maintaining the highest quality standards.

• Previous experience in the shoe industry or a similar field is advantageous.
