Job Title: Production Operator (Permanent Nights)

Location: Devizes

Employment Type: Full-Time, Permanent

Hours: 39 hours per week

Salary: From £35-40k (depending on experience) + bonuses

The Opportunity

We're working with a leading manufacturer in the engineering sector, currently seeking an experienced Production Operator to join their high-performing production team.

This role is ideal for a candidate with a background in precision manufacturing ideally, although full training will be given.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate CNC and EDM machinery to produce high-precision products small batch quantities.
  • Perform in-process inspections using CMMs, optical systems, and hand tools, recording accurate measurements and data.
  • Load and edit CNC programs as per work instructions.
  • Maintain documentation including work orders and quality records via ERP systems.
  • Conduct routine maintenance checks and report any faults.
  • Adhere to company safety policies, 5S standards, and wear appropriate PPE.
Working hours

Sunday 11pm - 6am, Monday to Thursday 10pm-6am

  • Experience within and engineering environment.

  • Computer literate with a basic understanding of ERP systems.
  • Flexible, proactive, and a strong communicator.
