General Manufacturing Operative

Located in Diss, Norfolk (Own transport essential unless locally based)

On a fulltime Temp to Perm basis

£12.48hr per hour

Monday to Thursday 07:30 to 16:15 & Friday 07:30 to 13:30, 39 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the stocking of materials; ensuring they are put away in their correct location, and correctly.
• Prepare manufacturing orders for production i.e. issue material, prep materials, and issue kit boxes; where applicable.
• Carry out perpetual inventory checks, as per the schedule, keep the material stores area clean and tidy.

Qualifications & Requirements

• General Manufacturing Operative will have previous experience of working in a manufacturing environment.
• Proven manual handling ability; this role will involve heavy lifting up to 25kgs.
• Good interpersonal skills for communicating with other production staff.
• Ability to safely use basic workshop equipment, e.g. saw, linisher, pillar drill.
