Qualifications

We’re looking for a Motor Control Expert Software Engineer with strong embedded software experience in safety-critical systems. You’ll be designing, implementing, and validating software for hydraulic and Sepex motors while ensuring compliance with ISO 13849 and other regulatory standards.
- Develop and maintain embedded software for real-time motor control systems.
- Collaborate with hardware engineers on software integration.
- Perform software validation, testing, and compliance activities (EMC, FCC, CE).
- Produce technical documentation for design and approvals.
- 7+ years in embedded software engineering for safety-critical systems.
- Expertise in motor control design and real-time C/C++ programming.
- Strong understanding of functional safety standards (ISO 13849/IEC 61508).
- Experience with CAN bus, serial protocols, and embedded hardware interfaces.
- Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Electronics, or equivalent.
- MISRA C coding standards knowledge.
- Cybersecurity experience for embedded systems.
