Do you have a passion and talent for producing, filming and editing videos? Would you like the chance to work in a collaborative environment and leverage your communication skills to manage different creative projects?
At William Reed, we are looking for an Assistant Video Producer to produce, film and edit high quality video content for our in-person and online events. Working with the Senior Video Producer, the Assistant Video Producer will create digital content with stakeholders across the business; from creative input, logistics to setting up shoots, operating cameras and importantly, producing a professional edit.
What you’ll be doing:
- Delivering high quality digital content for internal stakeholders and their clients across all William Reed divisions and brands, ensuring the timely production and delivery.
- Handling the full digital content creation project from early stages of conception and ideation, production to delivery, including coordinating logistics.
- Managing each project request and liaising with internal stakeholders; suggesting creative solutions and working on creative video concepts.
- Conducting and facilitating interviews with internal and external stakeholders, key speakers and sponsors.
- Recording in-person & online video and audio content on location or remotely, ensuring best practices regarding framing, lighting, mics, noise cancellation, etc.
- Editing conference sessions, videos, interviews and many other types of engaging video content to a professional standard.
- Preparing equipment for shoots and setting up productions on location such as camera equipment, lighting, audio, shots and scenes, etc.
- Operating cameras and assisting in the maintenance and upkeep of equipment.
- Producing animation sequences and motion graphics in Adobe After Effects, Adobe Premiere or similar.
Requirements
What you’ll need:
- Experience in producing high-quality edits including adding graphics and cleaning audio, etc.
- Proficient in video recording and editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro is essential, After Effects, Davinci Resolve, Streamyard are desirable).
- Comfortable operating video cameras and able to quickly become familiar with in-house kit.
- Animation experience is desired, but not essential.
- Outstanding organisation and communication skills with familiarity of running several projects simultaneously.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Self-motivated, demonstrates initiative and eager to continuously acquire new skills and knowledge.
- A creative mindset with proven experience in pitching compelling ideas.
- A flexible approach and great problem-solving skills, with the ability to deal with problems before they arise and come up with creative solutions on the spot when surprises present themselves.
- Willingness to travel to global events and be flexible in working hours.
