Enigma People Solutions is partnering with a leading engineering firm on an exciting project developing advanced electronic control systems for precision movement and load handling.

We’re looking for a Motor Control Expert Software Engineer with strong embedded software experience in safety-critical systems. You’ll be designing, implementing, and validating software for hydraulic and Sepex motors while ensuring compliance with ISO 13849 and other regulatory standards.

What You’ll Do

• Develop and maintain embedded software for real-time motor control systems.
• Collaborate with hardware engineers on software integration.
• Perform software validation, testing, and compliance activities (EMC, FCC, CE).
• Produce technical documentation for design and approvals.

What We’re Looking For

• 7+ years in embedded software engineering for safety-critical systems.
• Expertise in motor control design and real-time C/C++ programming.
• Strong understanding of functional safety standards (ISO 13849/IEC 61508).
• Experience with CAN bus, serial protocols, and embedded hardware interfaces.
• Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Electronics, or equivalent.

Nice to Have
