Job summary
An HR consultancy is seeking an HR Advisor to enhance HR policies and initiatives for a client with around 200 employees. Based in Ilkley, this full-time role offers a competitive salary of £32,000-£36,000, depending on experience. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing employee relations, overseeing payroll, maintaining HR records, and supporting recruitment processes. Ideal for someone looking to make a significant impact within an HR function across two manufacturing sites.
Qualifications
- Experience in managing employee relations, including absence, performance, disciplinaries, and grievances.
- Strong understanding of HR best practices and compliance.
- Ability to coordinate payroll processes accurately.
Responsibilities
- Foster strong relationships with line managers and supervisors, providing HR advice.
- Manage employee relations and ensure fair practices.
- Coordinate payroll ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Maintain HR systems, producing reports and ensuring GDPR compliance.
- Support recruitment activities from advertising to communication.
- Oversee onboarding and probation processes.

We are working with an established Client seeking to hire an HR Advisor, to work closely with their Group Head of HR, helping to deliver best-practice HR policies and initiatives across a group of c 200 employees.
This full-time role offers a competitive salary of £32,000-£36,000, dependent on experience, and the chance to make a significant impact across 2 manufacturing sites.
- Foster strong relationships with line managers and supervisors, providing consistent HR advice and support.
- Manage employee relations, including absence, performance, disciplinaries, and grievances, ensuring fair and lawful practices.
- Coordinate monthly payroll ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Maintain HR systems and records, producing routine reports and ensuring GDPR compliance.
- Support recruitment activities, from job advertising to candidate communication.
- Oversee onboarding and probation processes, ensuring a seamless induction experience.
- Assist with HR administration, including contract changes, internal communications, and training records.
- Contribute to engagement and wellbeing initiatives, and support the delivery of people projects and process improvements.
