A Global Law Firm in London are seeking a 4‑6+ PQE Employment Managing Associate to join their growing Employment team. This is an exciting opportunity to work closely with the Partners as they build and shape the team.

The work
  • Corporate support and advisory work across a broad range of transactional employment matters.
  • Acting on workforce classification and restriction covenants.
  • Cross-border M&A, workforce restructurings, employee relations, recruitment and severance.
  • Advising leading global corporates in Finance, Tech, and high‑growth start‑ups.
Specifics
  • Drafting and reviewing employment contracts, consultancy agreements and employment policies and handbooks.
  • Drafting and negotiating settlement agreements.
  • Misclassification issues and general UK start-up issues for early‑stage companies.
  • Individual and collective redundancy exercises.
  • Disciplinary and grievance issues.
  • The conduct of employment due diligence on corporate transactions and the drafting, mark‑up and negotiation of employment warranties and indemnities as needed.
