Aufgaben
- Produce detailed security system line drawings as part of an integrated solution.
- Produce calculations to support the integrity of the design.
- Review completed designs.
- Develop our document template library.
- Liaise with other designers to enable co-ordination of projects.
- Ensure document control requirements are met.
- Explain designs to engineers and clients.
- Write manuals for maintenance.
- Attend site to complete surveys.
- Perform other duties as required.
Kenntnisse
My client is looking for an experienced Design Engineer to work from home on a hybrid basis on a long term basis.
Paying £400 a shift + Long Term Works + Outside IR35 + Weekly basis
Acting as a main contractor my client provides the management and delivery expertise to deliver a multitude of Security biased projects throughout the UK which involve Electrical, CCTV and Access Control systems.
Due to continued expansion, they require someone to join their team working in the Design team.
- Produce detailed security system line drawings as part of an integrated solution
- Produce calculations to support the integrity of the design
- Review completed designs
- Develop our document template library
- Liaise with other designers to enable co-ordination of projects
- Ensure document control requirements are met.
- Explaining designs to engineers and clients
- Writing manuals for maintenance
- Attending site to complete surveys
- Any other duties commensurate with the role
- Working Knowledge of AutoCAD
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
- Trimble (Amtech) design software
- Be able to work off your own initiative
- Attention to detail
- On site practical working knowledge of security systems
- Punctual
- Well organised and methodical
