Closing date is 11 February 2026

This full-time substantive post will be based within the Digital and Data department. The post holder will be responsible for developing and maintaining eLearning, digital materials, guides and documents for the EPR Programme which is delivering an Electronic Patient Record (EPR) system in collaboration with the Digital Centre.

This role will require tasks such as creating interactive eLearning, video creation/editing, podcasts, screencasts, animations, onscreen step by step guides etc. for the various modules as they are developed, or updated, within the EPR Programme along with any other training materials, SharePoint and Learning Management System (LMS). In addition, you may be called upon to facilitate or train and lead onsite sessions, online forums and Teams-based meetings supporting any training.

The post holder will be working with the wider Digital and Data team and others including clinicians, technologists and operational colleagues across various projects, to assist in the delivery of Technology Enhanced Learning (TEL) solutions to enable a blended learning approach to courses.

Main duties of the job

To produce comprehensive training plans and training materials which facilitate the realisation of maximum benefits from the digital systems. These will both aid the implementation and support ongoing usage of clinical and business systems. To work closely with the EPR Training Lead in this area to ensure comprehensive 'change' plans are developed which support staff who have new, or substantially changed, roles resulting from the introduction of newly digitised processes and methods of fulfilling their roles.

To develop and maintain digital educational media for Digital Projects, particularly interactive immersive eLearning plus any user guides, training manuals and reference materials.

To support when required, the delivery of training of this digital educational media to staff either by virtual classroom or in person face to face learning.

About us

Our new strategy, developed with the support and feedback of colleagues, patients, and partners, is our compass for the next seven years (2023-2030).

We have four primary goals:

  • high-quality care for all,
  • being a great place to work,
  • partnerships for impact, and
  • research and education excellence

And we will embed health equality in all we do - taking active steps to reduce the avoidable differences in healthcare that some people face, working in partnership with communities.

Our strategy is underpinned by new values and we will work to ensure they are an everyday reality for all:

  • we are compassionate,
  • we are proud,
  • we are inclusive, and
  • we are one team

This is an exciting moment as we look to the future with clarity on what we already do well and where we need to focus our energies to make an even bigger difference for the people we serve.
