A healthcare organization in Wales is seeking a Registered Mental Health Nurse to work in the in-patient Mental Health Ward. The candidate will manage their own caseload of patients, collaborate with clinical teams, and provide care for individuals with complex mental health needs. Applicants must have strong communication skills and the flexibility to work shifts including nights and weekends. This role offers a supportive working environment with opportunities for career development.
To work as a Registered Mental Health Nurse in the in-patient setting of the Mental Health Ward as directed.
The post holder will have excellent communication skills, a positive attitude to working with people with complex mental health needs and work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
The post holder will manage their own caseload of patients, and act as an expert resource in the care and treatment of patients experiencing a range of mental health problems relevant to the area of practice.
The successful post holder will work closely with the clinical lead, Ward Manager and local clinical teams. Operational management will be provided by the Ward Manager and professional accountability will be ensured through regular supervision with the clinical lead. We care for our patients 7 days a week, 24 hours a day so you will need to have the flexibility to take part in a full shift system including nights, bank holidays and weekend working.
