Responsibilities
  • Provide nursing care in a home environment, delivering person-centred care to Residents and supporting their families.
  • Mentor and share knowledge with colleagues and act as a practice supervisor and assessor to students.
  • Advocate for residents and model professional behaviours with effective verbal and written communication.
  • Recognise and respond to safeguarding concerns; attend safeguarding training and escalate when necessary.
  • Ensure compliance with standards of practice set by the NMC and maintain up-to-date professional development.
  • Support the digital care planning initiative and contribute to improving care delivery and outcomes through technology.
Qualifications
  • Registered Nurse with at least 12 months experience in Health or Social Care and a valid PIN.
  • Understanding of safeguarding, and ability to seek advice and report concerns with appropriate escalation.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written; able to role model professional behaviours.
  • Commitment to person-centred care for Residents and their families.
  • Willingness to participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities.
