A UK-based infrastructure developer is looking to hire a Senior Development Manager to lead the strategic growth of a pipeline of large-scale data centre developments across the UK.
This is a senior, commercially focused role that sits at the intersection of land acquisition, planning, grid connection, and strategic infrastructure delivery. The ideal candidate will have experience managing complex, multi-stakeholder development projects – ideally within the energy, data centre, or infrastructure sectors– and a background in commercial land and planning.
We are particularly keen to speak to individuals with:
✔️ 8+ years’ experience in strategic land, planning, or infrastructure development
✔️ MRTPI or MRICS qualifications (or equivalent experience)
✔️ Proven track record of securing land and planning consents for major schemes
✔️ Strong commercial awareness and stakeholder management skills
You’ll be responsible for:
Leading end-to-end development of major UK sites
Driving land strategy and long-term site control
Navigating UK planning frameworks (TCPA / DCO)
Working alongside technical, legal, and finance teams to deliver viable, future-ready developments
