Food Service Supervisor - York, YO31 8TA

We are currently seeking a dedicated and dynamic Food Service Supervisor to join our team and play a key role in driving excellence and innovation.

What you'll do:

  • Engage and build effective relationships within the company and client organisation, developing an understanding of priorities and specific needs.
  • To be proactive in responding to other requirements, seeking information from other areas of the business as necessary
  • Where there is evidence of improvements required to the service delivery, or examples of best practice, appropriate action should be taken to remedy or share.
  • Comply with all Company & Client policies and statutory regulations relating to Health & Safety, safe food preparation policies, safe working practices, hygiene, cleanliness, fire and COSHH. This will include your awareness of any specific hazards in the workplace.
  • Follow client/company guidelines with regards to the identification and reporting of health and safety hazards.
  • To assist as directed with all aspects of preparation and presentation of food to the company's standards
  • To provide an efficient and friendly service to customers in all areas of the catering department.
  • To ensure that food is presented and served in a clean, hygienic environment
  • To assist at service times by serving the customer at the counter as directed to the company's standard
  • To complete all necessary sales controls and documentation for each service
  • To communicate well with customers and always demonstrate a helpful attitude
