The Team: the Central Data team is a passionate group of data scientists, engineers, and experts who use machine learning and data to power digital products, marketing, and advertising experiences across our brands, build innovative tools for newsrooms, and govern the effective and ethical use of data.
Our initiatives include pioneering GenAI tools, creating personalization capabilities that doubled ad revenues and increased article clicks by over 40%, and developing INCA, a suite of tools to support workflows and decision-making in newsrooms.
The team works on a modern cloud stack, including GCP and AWS, utilizing Python, deep learning frameworks, React, GraphQL, Node, and D3 for developing APIs and data visualization.
Re-positioning data governance as a ‘force for good’ and creating a competitive advantage, reporting to the Head of Data Enablement. You will contribute to strategy and implementation of governance, ensuring data protection while enabling ethical and effective use of data.
