CBRE Global Workplace Solutions is a leading global provider of integrated facilities and corporate real estate management. We are recruiting a Building Services Engineer to join our team based in Henley on Thames. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out planned preventative maintenance, reactive works to building plant, equipment, and systems in accordance with agreed service levels, and responding to site engineering emergencies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure routine maintenance is carried out on all building plant, equipment, and systems to meet and exceed expectations and service level agreements.
• Respond to Building Management System alarms and effect emergency repairs as needed.
• Issue and ensure appropriate controls within the Permit to Work systems.
• Maintain Evaporative Cooling Systems and domestic water systems to comply with the L8 standard.
• Ensure that suitable spares are available for maintenance of the above plant.
• Keep comprehensive maintenance records in the form of task sheets.
• Prepare Method Statements and Risk Assessments for all tasks to ensure safe working practices.
• Supervise engineering subcontractors, ensuring compliance with contractual commitments and site processes.
• Develop good working relationships with CBRE staff and client staff.
• Provide a safe and healthy working environment, ensuring compliance with all policies and procedures.
• Present a professional image of CBRE to clients and visitors, delivering excellent customer service.
• Maintain professional and technical skills through personal development and lifelong learning.
• Operate the site to high Health & Safety standards with engineering excellence in mind.
• Contribute initiatives in areas including Energy, Projects, and Maintenance.

Skills Required:

• A good basic education, with proficiency in English and basic Mathematics.
• Formal training in electrical/mechanical maintenance.
• Experience in maintaining relevant mechanical and electrical equipment.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Dedicated to delivering excellent customer service.
• Calm under pressure and able to work at heights.
• Flexible to provide holiday and sickness cover at short notice.
