Job summary
A leading semiconductor company is seeking a Principal Quality Project Engineer in Nottingham to drive quality improvement initiatives in the fabrication process. The successful candidate will handle customer complaints, support audits, and ensure the quality of manufacturing processes. A degree in a relevant field and proven experience in semiconductor manufacturing are required. Qualifications
- Degree qualified or equivalent with experience in semiconductor manufacturing.
- Proven track record in fabrication of MOS devices and electrical testing.
- Understanding of semiconductor device principles and wafer fab process variables.
Responsibilities
- Drive and coordinate quality improvement initiatives in fab-based processes.
- Handle customer complaints and liaise with product quality engineers.
- Support audits and quality reporting activities.
- Participate in Serious Incident Reduction initiatives.
- Lead cross-functional teams for quality improvement efforts.
- Ensure manufacturing instructions meet quality requirements.
- Communicate ongoing quality issues effectively within the Group.
- Support and train Process Engineering and Engineering Assistants.
