We are currently recruiting for a Receptionist Porter on a casual basis at Bailbrook House Hotel, part of Hand Picked Hotels.

Bailbrook House Hotel is a prestigious luxury country house hotel, steeped in history and located within the beautiful city of Bath. Bailbrook House Hotel has 88 bedrooms spread across the Mansion house and court and has been awarded 4 Silver stars by the AA. It is a popular venue for relaxing weekends away or for weddings and events.

• The role of our receptionist porter is to deliver an exceptional guest experience, by putting the guest at the heart of everything you do, through personalised and thoughtful service with care and attention to detail.
• You will be expected to demonstrate a high level of engagement with guests throughout their stay to make them feel at home, relaxed, and importantly identify and create magical memories at every possible opportunity.
• In collaboration with the Front office team you’ll maintain regular and effective communication to ensure a seamless operation, aware of all the days activities.
• Most of all we will want you to be inspired, have fun and enjoy being part of our Hand Picked Team.
  
  

• To be considered for this role you will have knowledge and experience of working in a luxury four or five star hotel within a front office environment.
• Be passionate about going above and beyond for our guests and recognise and skilfully act on opportunities to make the guest experience memorable through offering or suggesting appropriate hotel products and facilities.
• Be able to demonstrate a high level of emotional intelligence, enabling you to be able to anticipate our guests needs ensuring they receive a Hand Picked experience.
• You’ll have proficient computer skills, including knowledge of hotel reservation systems and Microsoft office. Knowledge of Opera is desirable.
• Through your enthusiasm and willing approach, you will demonstrate how you find solutions to any scenario.
• Act calmly and professionally, maintaining an outwardly positive attitude even when under pressure.
  
  

• A competitive salary package of £13.82 per hour.
• This role is offered on a casual contract basis and hours will vary depending on business needs. We are looking for someone to be flexible in working weekends and holidays.
• Uniform and meals on duty will provided if applicable.
