CEO for a chilled & frozen food manufacturer based in North West England. Commercially focused leadership role.

This opportunity is with a well-established, SME in food based in the North of England. With a strong global presence the UK is in growth mode, making this the perfect role for a commercially focused leader with a background in chilled or frozen food. Known for its commitment to delivering exceptional products, the company operates in a professional environment and is dedicated to innovation and excellence.

• Lead the UK business to deliver profitable growth and market share expansion.
• Define and execute the UK strategy in alignment with the European Group vision.
• Drive a commercial agenda, leveraging sales and marketing expertise to grow key accounts, including retailers, food manufacturers and foodservice channels.
• Ensure operational excellence across production, supply chain, and quality standards.
• Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing UK leadership team.
• Represent the UK business with customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders across Europe.

• Proven commercial background, in chilled/frozen food, with experience delivering growth in the UK market.
• Experience leading a business or division within a European group is highly desirable.
• Strong leadership skills with a track record of building and motivating high-performing teams.
• P&L responsibility and experience managing a complex commercial operation.
• Strategic thinker with operational expertise and a hands-on approach.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and influencing skills.
• The successful candidate will be based or willing to relocate to the UK HQ which is based in the North West of England.
