We’re seeking a Lead Nurse to join a purpose-built addiction and recovery treatment service, delivering exemplary care in an outstanding environment. In this role, you’ll combine strong clinical skills with the ability to guide, coach, and inspire a small, dedicated team. You’ll ensure that every service user receives safe, compassionate, and effective care while supporting the development of your colleagues.

• Working pattern:
• 3 days per week supernumerary (9am – 5pm)
• 1 day per week leading on the floor (7:45am – 8pm)

You’ll also deputise for senior leadership when required, ensuring the clinical team remains visible, effective, and aligned with best practice standards.

• Current NMC registration as a Registered Nurse
• Previous leadership experience as a Ward Manager or Band 6/7 Senior Nurse
• A passion for substance misuse care and supporting recovery journeys
• Strong mentoring and coaching skills, with the ability to develop others
• Experience in care planning, incident management, and clinical governance
• Excellent organisational and communication skills, with resilience under pressure

• Leadership or clinical educator qualification
• Experience in addiction treatment or behavioural health

• Salary of £42,000 – £45,000 (depending on experience)
