We are searching for a talented Sales focussed Account Director, who has prior experience of handling sales within the finance industry. You will bring your expertise and previous client relationships, and become the go-to person for the company when identifying and strategizing opportunities for business growth within the finance sector. MUST HAVE BOTH FINANCE AND TELCO SECTOR EXPERIENCE.


You will have the ability to drive sustainable financial growth through boosting sales and forging strong relationships with clients.


You will assist in the growth of their market leading product and price point to help you achieve both your and the businesses goals for their investors. You will be working directly with the Head of Sales and other key stakeholders across the business i.e., Head of Marketing, CSM, product, planning and the installation team.


Responsibilities:

  1. Be the customer facing representative of the company and product within the financial industry.
  2. Work your pre-existing network and build relationships with the key stakeholders in the insurance industry showcasing the benefits of the product, and how it can help them solve their connectivity challenges.
  3. Attend the major conferences, networking events within the finance industry.
  4. Work closely with marketing, network, CSM and the build teams to seek out and maximize all sale opportunities.
  5. Drive a finance vertical specific sales campaign to be the “Go to person for high end connectivity in London”.
  6. Collaborate with the internal departments and external partners to execute business plans and strategies for all industry related business possibilities.
  7. Evaluate customer requirements and build business cases for the insurance landscape's needs and wants.
  8. Be able to hold your own with the current on trend topics, and lingo, in the industry as well as navigate their specific connectivity needs.
  9. Support the management in contract development, customer negotiations and product enhancements.
  10. Generate new sales from customers.

Experience:

  1. Demonstrable experience of selling into the finance industry, and to be equipped with potential clients from day one.
  2. Experience working in a fast-paced B2B sales environment (preferably SaaS or Telco).
  3. The ability to be positive, possess a great work ethic and passionate to overachieve.
  4. Experience of working with CRM systems and sales enablement tools, preferably Salesforce and Outreach.
  5. Proficient in Microsoft Office and other office productivity tools, with ability to learn new software and systems.
  6. Ability to articulate your ideas and approach to a wide array of audiences.
  7. Ability to prioritise workload and meet targets set by others.
  8. Ability to work cross-functionally and influence decision making with senior-level audiences without hesitation.
  9. Take personal responsibility to meet commitments and actively seek additional responsibility, all whilst working consistently with unparalleled attention to detail.
  10. Team player and can communicate well to a variety of stakeholders and peers.
  11. Fluent in English (written and verbal).
  12. Work to all sales KPI’s both weekly and monthly.
  13. Flexible team player, and naturally willing to see things through to completion.
  14. Strong analytical problem-solving skills, strong time-management skills, and the ability to organise, coordinate and prioritise competing priorities.
