Job description

This job is brought to you by Jobs/Redefined, the UK's leading over-50s age inclusive jobs board.

Bragg Gaming Group, a provider of gaming technology and content, dual-listed on US and Canadian stock exchanges, is looking for an accomplished Head of Licensing to lead our Licensing and Policies initiatives. This strategic, high-impact role involves driving Bragg's licensing strategy, regulatory and corporate policy-making, supporting expansion, and ensuring operational excellence across North America, LATAM, the EU, and other key markets.

As a pivotal leader, you will develop and implement licensing strategies, foster trusted partnerships with regulatory bodies and government agencies, and proactively advise on legislative and licensing developments. Reporting directly to the Chief Legal and Compliance Officer, you'll lead a dedicated team, positioning Bragg as a trusted and forward-thinking industry leader while supporting our global growth objectives.

This is a hybrid role based in our London office.

Your responsibilities:
  1. Serve as a senior licensing advisor to the executive team, providing insights and guidance on licensing, regulatory policies, and due diligence processes affecting strategic decisions.
  2. Lead and oversee Bragg's global licensing efforts, ensuring compliance and supporting license acquisition, maintenance, and renewal across markets including the US, Canada, Latam, Europe, and emerging markets.
  3. Develop and execute licensing strategies, building relationships with regulatory bodies, external partners, and legal advisors to support iGaming licensing initiatives.
  4. Manage global license application processes, including obtaining license conditions and coordinating submissions with regulatory authorities.
  5. Act as licensing liaison, advising cross-functional teams on licensing conditions and policies, balancing operational needs.
  6. Design and enforce corporate and regulatory policies, such as Anti-Bribery, Corruption, and AML policies, aligning with jurisdictional regulations.
  7. Manage corporate and regulatory submissions, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
  8. Oversee B2B Partners Due-Diligence reviews, including KYC/KYB and sanctions checks, adhering to onboarding standards.
  9. Manage onboarding of local legal counsel and maintain relationships.
  10. Monitor legal developments, advising on impacts and licensing strategies.
  11. Create and educate teams on standard licensing conditions worldwide.
  12. Build efficient licensing and tax structures to support market entry and growth.
  13. Develop and deliver training to enhance compliance culture and awareness.
  14. Generate detailed compliance reports for regulatory agencies.
  15. Lead and develop the licensing team through mentorship and coaching.
What you bring to the team:
  • Qualified lawyer or compliance professional with 8+ years of experience in global regulatory landscapes within iGaming.
  • Proven expertise in licensing strategies and cross-functional leadership.
  • Effective communicator of complex licensing requirements to technical and business teams.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Fluent in written and verbal English.
Bonus points if:
  • You know one or more additional languages.
  • You have experience with iGaming regulations and standards.
  • You are familiar with AI applications in compliance.
What's in it for you:
  • Competitive compensation reflecting your expertise and leadership.
  • Hybrid work model with 30 days of annual leave.
  • Opportunities for career development and global exposure.
  • Comprehensive benefits including health, wellness, and retirement plans.
  • A dynamic, supportive culture valuing innovation and collaboration.
