A leading water and wastewater company in the UK is seeking a Trunk Sewer Technician to maintain and operate the sewer network. The role involves performing mechanical maintenance, working in confined spaces, and manual handling of heavy loads. Essential qualifications include physical fitness and a full UK driving license. This position offers a competitive starting salary of £27,465 per annum along with benefits such as annual leave, pension contributions, and performance-related pay.
Day to day, you will be maintaining and operating the sewer network and its associated assets whilst carrying out basic mechanical maintenance and fault finding. The work involves confined space access, working in some of London’s most challenging Subterranean areas.
South London - Greenwich Storm (SE108JL)
38 hours per week, Monday – Friday, 6:30 am – 3:45 pm; with 1 week out of 5 on the night shift from 9:00 pm - 5:30 am; with opportunity to be included on the standby rota, for which you will also receive an additional payment.
