Ashtead Technology have an exciting opportunity to immerse yourself in the subsea industry, work alongside experienced professionals, and begin your journey as a Trainee Calibration Technician within our state of the art Calibration Lab as part of our Survey & Robotics team in Westhill.

Our Survey and Robotics team provide cutting edge subsea technology, which is used in mapping the seabed, positioning subsea infrastructure, and conducting subsea inspections. Ashtead Technology are recognised as the underwater technology experts for the global offshore industry and are engaged in operations spanning across the entire energy sector. Offering a fully integrated service capability, we provide packaged equipment solutions for our customers for various applications, water depths and deployments. In the Calibration lab you will work with the latest instrumentation to accurately verify a variety of sensors to ensure maximum performance in the field.

We are looking for candidates who either hold or are working towards an HND or HNC in Electronic/Electrical Engineering or Engineering Systems OR have experience as an Electrician, looking to transition into the Energy sector.

What will your Traineeship look like?

You will start out working within our purpose built calibration lab, where you will be trained in how to inspect, test, service and repair our portfolio of 20,000 subsea assets. Ensuring our assets are maintained in a state of readiness is critical to our success and you will play a key role in delivering equipment to meet our clients requirements.
