Role: Cardiology Technician

Location: Anderson Moores Veterinary Specialists

Salary: £25,646.40 pro-rata to £20,196.54 per annum

Job type: Permanent, part-time

Hours: 31.5 hours, Monday - Thursday 09:00-16:30 and Friday 09:12:30

We have an exciting opportunity for a Cardiology Technician to join our friendly team at Anderson Moores.

Roles and Responsibilities
  • Maintaining high levels of cleanliness throughout the department.
  • Cleaning and turning around clinical rooms between examinations and helping with efficient throughput of patients.
  • Together with other support staff help with the maintenance and servicing schedule of equipment.
  • Together with other support staff help with administrative work as required
  • Ordering and restocking consumables and equipment
  • Maintaining clinical standards
  • Assist the Veterinary Surgeons, Registered and Student Veterinary Nurses, Reception staff and any other team member who requires support, where and when required.
  • Patient Handling & Restraint: Safely handle and restrain animals during cardiology exams, ultrasound and procedures.
  • Procedure Preparation: Prepare patients for diagnostic imaging (e.g., echocardiograms, ECGs, radiographs)
  • Assisting with Diagnostics: Set up and assist during procedures such as ECGs, echocardiograms, and Holter monitor fittings
