Mobile Vehicle Technician

Location: Bridgwater
Salary: £38,625 Basic (OTE £50,000) + Overtime 1.5 / guaranteed overtime option to increase base salary to £44,385 + Company Van
Hours: Monday to Friday 08:00-16:30, with 1 in 4 Saturdays – 40 hours per week

Responsibilities
  • Attend breakdowns to diagnose and resolve vehicle issues, aiming to get them back on the road or arranging workshop transport.
  • Identify problems and advise customers on vehicle issues.
  • Perform vehicle servicing and general maintenance, including electrical and diagnostic tasks.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service as the face of the business.
Requirements
  • Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair (or Level 2, or equivalent qualifications such as City & Guilds Vehicle Maintenance, IMI, or NVQ) and must be able to show qualifications.
  • Minimum 3 years experience in a vehicle workshop or as a Mobile Vehicle Mechanic.
  • A full UK driving licence – no more than 9 points or bans on the licence.
  • Demonstrable technical, electrical, and diagnostic experience.
