Responsibilities: To work from a drawing, manufacturing sequence or instruction sheet to carry out all the operations involved in fitting, installing, removing and securing all types of assembly and sub-assembly. To carry out all these operations in accordance with the defined procedure.

Scope of activities

Perform some or all of the following activities:

• Check tools at the start and end of the task (VRS – Verification Respect of Standard)
• Be familiar with the production file
• Position parts, elements and equipment in relation to the defined process
• Assemble elements according to the definition and process
• Comply with rules applicable at the customer’s site
• Perform quality self-inspection tests
• Be responsible for the quality of operations according to assembly rules and/or manufacturing files
• Carry out assembly within deadlines
• Propose solutions for improvement from a continuous progress perspective
• Tidy and clean the workstation
• Complete monitoring documents

Activities need to be adapted for employees on work-study placements (professionalization contracts, apprenticeship contracts, etc.) to be in line with their training.
