Comgent is seeking a self-motivated, part-time Sales Business Developer who thrives without micromanagement and prioritizes authentic relationship building over spam-based tactics. The role focuses on B2B lead generation and client engagement in the IT staffing and consulting sector. The ideal candidate will bring a proven professional network, IT industry experience, and the ability to execute autonomously within a structured yet entrepreneurial environment.

With a great team mentality and no fear of failing, you will:

- Initiate contact and build relationships with decision-makers in target organizations.
- Negotiate with and onboard new partners and customers.
- Play a central role in developing sales and product strategies for success in our market.
- Optimize account management and improve customer relationships.
- Align sales efforts with Comgent's brand voice and long-term business goals.
- Collaborate with the business development team to refine outreach and messaging.
- Optimize commercial tools (CRM, back-office statistics, etc.).
- Monitor competition.
- Potentially represent Comgent at key networking events or IT industry meetups.
Requirements
- Fluent in French and English, both spoken and written, with demonstrated client-facing sales fluency (additional languages are a strong asset).
- Minimum 5 years of proven B2B sales experience, including successful business development and the ability to build and maintain long-term client relationships.
- A true "hunter" sales profile: proactive, persistent, and opportunity-driven.
- Solid understanding of the IT and Networking industries; experience in these sectors is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with the particularities of French business culture is essential.
- Excellent communication skills and a problem-solving mindset.
- Strong organizational, prioritization, and workload management skills.
- Goal-oriented, agile, tenacious, and a fast learner capable of adapting to a dynamic environment.
- Enthusiastic about working in an international and multicultural context.
- Possesses an existing personal network of relevant decision-makers, especially in IT or tech-related sectors.
- Comfortable working independently while integrating into a structured yet agile team.
- Committed to building genuine, trust-based relationships rather than transactional interactions.
Freelance, part-time contract with a competitive monthly retainer and commission-based incentives.
