Role Overview As Finance Business Partner, you will steer projects financial performance across Hensoldt Nexeya France, prepare proposals and monitor contract fulfilment. Reporting to the Controlling Director Hensoldt Nexeya France, you will BE part of the Country Finance Team and also work closely with Group Controlling. You will act as a Business Partner to operational teams, ensuring financial visibility, sound decision-making, and adherence to group policies and best practices. Key Responsabilities - Act as a financial Business Partner to the project managers - Monitor contract fulfilment, support performance management, align views and link operations to financials - Drive transparent and compliant project / product cost calculation - Prepare proposals - Operate the cost accounting structures and related systems - Prepare and participate in bid approvals (RMC), project reviews (EAC), and risk reviews (ERM) - Develop business cases for investments and impairments - Lead planning cycles : budgeting, forecasting, headcount, workload, and cash - Perform variance analysis and recommend corrective actions - Govern intercompany recharges, transfer pricing, and service-level agreements (SLAs) - Deliver ad-hoc financial analyses and investment simulations - Monitor financial KPIs and ensure data accuracy through systems and master data control - Align Business Lines heads, Project Managers, Sales and Operations on financial outlooks - Ensure timely and high-quality financial reporting in line with group expectations - Ensure adherence to group financial policies and procedures - Secure governance of internal finance processes and external regulations - Monitor the financial performance of projects and functions - Initiate and drive improvement and cost reduction initiatives - Contribute to continuous improvement of controlling processes, methods and tools
Your Profile Experience - 5-10 years Project Controlling experience in a long-term contracts industry (e.g., defense, aerospace, engineering, infrastructure) - Strong knowledge of cost accounting, financial planning, and ERP systems - Experience working in matrix organizations and project-based environments Education - Master's degree in Finance, Controlling, or related field Languages - Fluent in French and English mandatory - German a plus Skills - Excellent analytical skills, business acumen, and leadership presence - Strategic thinker : develops a vision of future needs and the associated plan to get there - Organised : structures his efforts and the team work by setting clear priorities - Enthusiastic : generates pleasant cooperation across functions and locations - Communicator : solution oriented person eager to interact with different organisation levels - Agile : adapts to a dynamic environment - Hands-on & resilient : passionate to make things happen and act with impact over time - Change manager : eager to implement innovative approaches
