A rapidly growing tech company is seeking a Technical Presales – Data & Artificial Intelligence Solutions to act as a technical lead in the presales process. The role requires strong expertise in cloud platforms and AI, excellent client engagement skills, and the ability to design solutions that meet business needs. The position offers a permanent contract, 100% remote work, and flexible remuneration packages including health insurance and meal vouchers.

Qualifications

  • Very high level of English and Spanish (spoken and written).
  • 5-7 years of experience in technical presales or consulting for data/AI solutions.
  • Proven experience in customer engagement, proposal development, and complex sales cycles.

Overview

We are looking to expand our team with a Technical Presales – Data & Artificial Intelligence Solutions. Act as the technical lead in the presales process for data platform modernization and AI-first strategies, bridging the gap between commercial teams, technical experts, and clients. This role requires the ability to understand both functional and technical needs, contribute value in the definition of solutions, and support the closing of opportunities through solid, realistic proposals. The position plays a key role in identifying cross-functional opportunities within client organizations (cross-selling), translating business challenges into viable technological solutions, and ensuring a technically sound execution plan.

Responsibilities
  1. Technical Consulting & Client Engagement
    • Participate in client meetings to identify technical and business needs.
    • Lead discovery sessions to gather requirements and define preliminary scopes.
    • Align the technology vision with the client's strategic objectives, particularly around cloud modernization, advanced analytics, AI, and data governance.
  2. Solution Design & Value Proposition
    • Design technical architectures based on:
      • Cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP)
      • Lakehouse and Data Mesh architectures
      • Artificial Intelligence (predictive, generative, agent-based)
      • Data governance and democratization
    • Estimate timelines, effort, required technical roles, and associated risks.
    • Prepare and defend technical and commercial proposals (RFPs, RFIs, demos, PoCs).
  3. Technical Support Throughout the Sales Cycle
    • Collaborate with sales teams to build winning proposals.
    • Deliver technical presentations to various audiences (IT, business, C-level).
    • Coordinate and / or execute demos, PoCs, and technical workshops, providing relevant and value-driven content.
  4. Strategic Vision & Opportunity Detection
    • Identify cross- and up-selling opportunities in other client areas.
    • Understand the implications of European regulations (e.g. AI Act, GDPR) and data governance requirements.
    • Support capability-building initiatives such as AI / ML labs, operating models, or self-service analytics environments.

Education
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications, Mathematics, Physics, or similar fields.
  • Master's degree in Data Science, Big Data, or Artificial Intelligence is a plus.
Languages
  • Very high level of English and Spanish (spoken and written)
Experience
  • 5-7 years of experience in technical presales or consulting for data / AI solutions.
  • Experience on financial services projects.
  • Proven experience in customer engagement, proposal development, and complex sales cycles.
  • Previous experience in system integrators, consultancies, or major tech vendors is a plus.
