A Japanese metal and glass components company in Munich is looking for a highly motivated and experienced Technical Sales Manager - Laser Processing Technology (m / f / d) with responsibility for the entire EU market.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage relationships with existing clients mostly in Germany, including approximately 20 key accounts.
• Actively engage in account management, ensuring client satisfaction, addressing inquiries, and resolving concerns.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the German market, leveraging our unique laser processing technology and highlighting its potential.
• Research and stay updated on emerging technologies in the industry, identifying areas of growth and potential customer needs.
• Collaborate with our team in Japan, including renowned laser processing technology companies such as leading companies specialize in manufacturing laser equipment, particularly for small component production.
• Work with niche components that may not be found in standard reference materials, requiring close collaboration with research institutes and technical information exchanges.
• Contribute to the development activities within our company, including providing feedback and insights for continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with our international sales team, based in Japan, to ensure smooth transition and handover of client contracts and agreements.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Proven experience in technical sales, preferably within the laser processing technology or related industry.
• Strong customer relationship management skills, with experience managing key accounts and meeting their unique needs.
• Knowledge of the German market and familiarity with prominent companies in the laser processing technology sector.
• Technical expertise in laser processing technology, including understanding niche components and their applications.
• Ability to research and analyze market trends, identifying potential growth opportunities.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.
• Fluency both German and English.
