Job summary
A leading healthcare organization in Vancouver is seeking a Staff RN for their GI Endoscopy unit. This role involves assessing patient needs, developing care plans, and working within a collaborative team. Ideal candidates will have current RN registration, post-basic training in gastroenterology, and strong clinical skills. Qualifications
- Current practicing registration as a Registered Nurse with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives.
- Completion of recognized post-basic education in gastroenterology nursing with a certificate.
- Preference for candidates with recent GI endoscopy experience.
Responsibilities
- Assess patients' physical, social, spiritual, and psychological needs.
- Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans.
- Provide hands-on nursing interventions.
- Track patient progress and evaluate outcomes against goals.
- Mentor new nurses and model best-practice guidelines.
