Job summary

A health services provider in Ontario seeks a Sexual Assault & Domestic Violence Nurse Examiner to provide trauma-informed medical and forensic care to victims. Candidates should have current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario and strong assessment and communication skills. The role requires experience in community health or acute care, with additional training offered upon hire. Must be able to respond effectively to calls and conduct forensic exams.

Qualifications

• In current good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario.
• Current CPR required.
• SANE/NE training will be provided upon hire.
• Three years of experience in community, women's health, or acute care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Respond to calls related to sexual assault and domestic violence.
• Assist with triage clients for necessary medical treatment.
• Conduct client health and assault histories.
• Perform medical-forensic exams.
