Career Strategies is currently hiring for a Grounds/Maintenance Tech position at an Apartment Community in Vancouver, with immediate start available. We seek candidates with strong work ethic, reliability, and excellent communication skills. Earn weekly pay, and enjoy weekends off!

Job Title: Grounds/Maintenance

Hours: M-F 8am-12pm (subject to change)

The role includes groundskeeping, landscaping, cleaning, power-washing, interior painting, and full unit turns. Must also be capable of interacting with residents to identify, diagnose, and repair issues related to electrical, plumbing, A/C, heating systems, appliances, stairs, railings, gas fixtures, carpet, tiles, and flooring.

Job Duties:

• Maintain the grounds, amenities, building exteriors, leasing office, parking lots, and other community buildings.
• Ensure meticulous upkeep of all community areas.
• Complete full-turns/make-readies efficiently.
• Remove trash from office areas and the community perimeter daily.
• Assist in preparing units for market readiness, including trash removal from vacant apartments.
• Support Maintenance Supervisor/Property Manager and perform assigned tasks promptly.
• Assist in cleaning available apartments and models.
• Possess basic maintenance skills, including plumbing, electrical, drywall repair, painting, and appliance repair.
• Assist with snow removal if applicable.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, carpentry, and electrical issues.
• Report maintenance concerns to the Maintenance Supervisor.
• Follow all company policies, goals, and values.
• Communicate effectively with residents and document interactions.
