About The Role

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Community Manager to join our team and lead the management of a prestigious residential rental building in Vancouver, BC. As the Community Manager, you will foster a strong and positive community by exercising judgment and discretion in supervising on-site operations and building meaningful relationships with residents. You will direct and manage the building team, fostering an environment of high standards, deep support. The Community Manager establishes work standards and procedures and makes decisions regarding resident relations and property operations to ensure the building operates efficiently and maintains high standards of service.

What You’ll Do
  • Exercise judgement and discretion in supervising onsite operations of your building and team.
  • Manage building operations by establishing priorities, allocating resources, and making decisions that ensure efficient daily functioning of the property.
  • Establish standards and procedures to ensure the building operates efficiently and maintains a high standard of service.
  • Plan and schedule building inspections and maintenance, implementing preventative maintenance systems, and making decisions to address operational concerns before they escalates.
  • Provide ongoing training, tools and support needed to your team relevant to their roles to perform confidently and effectively.
  • Direct team training initiatives, evaluate performance, and exercise discretion in providing feedback and support that builds team capability and confidence.
  • Manage AR processes by exercising judgment in collection strategies, resident communications, and escalation decisions to ensure timely rent collection.
  • Establish and oversee systems for document management, compliance tracking, and record‑keeping that ensure audit readiness and operational transparency.
  • Coordinate and supervise move‑in/move‑out processes, making decisions regarding unit readiness, turnover priorities, and resource allocation to minimize vacancy loss.
What You Bring
  • Proven experience in property management, community development, or related roles.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with residents, team members, and stakeholders.
  • Strong leadership abilities and the ability to motivate and inspire the team.
  • In‑depth knowledge of rental property management laws, regulations, and market trends in Victoria.
  • Proficiency in financial management and budgeting.
  • High level of organization and attention to detail to handle multiple tasks and responsibilities effectively.
  • Tech‑savvy with the ability to utilize property management software and other relevant tools.

Our salary ranges and bonus percentages are determined by job family and level. Base salary is determined by a combination of factors including, but not limited to, education and training, years of relevant experience, and internal equity.

$72,600 - $99,800 CAD
