Responsibilities
  1. Perform full cycle accounting for a portfolio of 12-15 condominium buildings, including shared facilities.
  2. Prepare accurate monthly financial statements, including Balance Sheet, Income Statement, and supporting schedules, ensuring timely submission by the 20th of each month.
  3. Process and analyze accounts receivable and accounts payable.
  4. Conduct monthly bank reconciliations and review discrepancies.
  5. Collaborate with property managers to maintain accurate records.
  6. Prepare and reconcile recoveries.
  7. Assist in the preparation of year-end audit working papers.
  8. Process owner changes and electronic funds transfers for common element fees.
  9. Undertake additional assignments as required to support the team and company objectives.
  10. Consistently exceed customer expectations through professional and efficient communication.
  11. Demonstrate excellent time management, attention to detail, and teamwork.

  • Meeting deadlines for financial reporting and ensuring accuracy in financial statements.
  • Taking initiative, mentoring junior team members, and providing insights for process improvements.
  • Understanding the broader implications of financial decisions on the company's objectives and developing strategic insights.
  • Upholding accounting principles and standards while performing full-cycle accounting, processing journal entries, and reconciling accounts.
  • Collaborating with property managers and other team members to maintain accurate records and address financial concerns promptly.
  • Identifying discrepancies, analyzing accounts, and resolving issues efficiently.
  • Willingness to undertake additional assignments to support team and company objectives.

Required Qualifications and Experience
  • College Diploma or University degree in Accounting or Business Administration.
  • Strong customer service orientation with exceptional communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative accounting team.
  • Eagerness to learn and adapt to new processes and software.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Autonomous, friendly, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
Nice to Have
  • Experience with Yardi Voyager 7S software.
  • Experience in property management.
