The LDB is one of two government branches responsible for BC's cannabis and liquor industry. We manage the wholesale distribution of beverage alcohol within the province, along with the retail operations of BC Liquor Stores.

Auxiliary positions are on-call; hours are not guaranteed and depend on availability. Some employees may start with fewer hours, but increased hours and seniority can lead to more opportunities.

BC Liquor Store Sales Associates may operate various mechanical and hand-operated equipment and handle large volumes of bottles as part of the recycling program.
Rate of pay as of April 14, 2024: $26.07 per hour.
