- Monitor security systems and perform regular interior and exterior patrols.
- Greet visitors and provide directions or assistance as needed.
- Control access to restricted areas and enforce client policies, property rules, and safety regulations.
- Respond promptly to incidents and emergencies, including fire alarms, medical situations, or security breaches.
- Provide first aid when required, and coordinate with emergency response teams.
- Document all incidents and observations through clear note-taking and detailed incident reports.
- Inspect security equipment and report any maintenance or repair needs.
- Perform property inspections and security escorts as needed.
- Maintain strong communication with visitors, clients, and the general public in a professional and courteous manner.
- Foster a positive and team-oriented work environment through effective collaboration and accountability.
- Legally authorized to work in Canada.
- Valid Security License in New Brunswick.
- First Aid & CPR Certification (mandatory – must be issued by Canadian Red Cross or Saint John Ambulance).
- Strong report writing skills with attention to detail.
- Good eyesight and strong focus, especially during long patrols or surveillance tasks.
- Tech-savvy, with the ability to operate security systems, radios, and reporting tools.
- Bilingualism is an asset – strong English communication skills are required.
