Within the hospital and nursing department philosophy, mission, standards, the BC College of Nurses and Midwives Standards for Nursing Practice, and the Canadian Nurses Association (CNA) Code of Ethics for Nursing, the Staff Nurse provides professional nursing care as part of a multidisciplinary team. The nurse is responsible and accountable for coordinating and delivering direct client care using the nursing process, providing guidance to auxiliary personnel and staff, and responding to emergencies to ensure safety for clients, visitors, and staff.
Registered with BC College of Nurses and Midwives as a practicing RN.
