The Research Security Office at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, located within OVCR, was established to ensure compliance with United States research security requirements. Research security regulations apply to a subset of activities incidental to the education and research missions at UW-Madison. These activities primarily center around funded research and the effort to counter undue foreign influence on US federally funded activities.
The Research Security Program Manager will assist the Director of Research Security Program in ensuring that research at the UW-Madison is conducted in a manner compliant with research security regulations, including NSPM-33 and the CHIPS & Science Act. This will include helping to maintain regulatory compliance by coordinating and promoting research security awareness on campus, coordinating cybersecurity requirements related to research security, and supporting all aspects of the Research Security Program.
Diversity is a source of strength, creativity, and innovation for UW-Madison. We value the contributions of each person and respect the profound ways their identity, culture, background, experience, status, abilities, and opinion enrich the university community. We commit ourselves to the pursuit of excellence in teaching, research, outreach, and diversity as inextricably linked goals.
The University of Wisconsin-Madison fulfills its public mission by creating a welcoming and inclusive community for people from every background - people who as students, faculty, and staff serve Wisconsin and the world.
