Job summary
A leading healthcare consultancy is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the HPV Primary Screening Implementation in Saskatchewan. The role involves managing multi-stakeholder initiatives, ensuring project readiness, and overseeing integration across clinical, laboratory, IT, and community sectors. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in healthcare project management and strong leadership skills. This position offers a hybrid work arrangement with intercity travel between Saskatoon and Regina.
Qualifications
- 7-10 years leading multi-stakeholder projects, especially in healthcare settings.
- 3-5 years of experience in healthcare project environments.
- PMP preferred; PRINCE2 or Prosci an asset.
Responsibilities
- Lead integration of project activities across multiple stakeholders.
- Manage project scope, risks, dependencies, and timelines.
- Build and maintain a comprehensive project roadmap.
- Facilitate stakeholder meetings and ensure accountability.
- Maintain and present performance metrics and status reports.
- Support change management and organizational readiness.
- Develop charters, plans, and necessary documentation.
- Ensure consistent engagement between teams in Saskatoon and Regina.

The Saskatchewan Cancer Agency (SCA), through its Population Health Department, is transitioning its CervixCheck Program to HPV Primary Screening and Self-Sampling, aiming to modernize cervical cancer screening across the province.
We are seeking a highly experienced Project Manager to lead this province-wide, multi-stakeholder healthcare transformation initiative. The successful candidate will ensure seamless coordination across clinical, laboratory, IT, and community engagement streams to drive readiness and timely implementation through 2026-2027.
- Lead integration of project activities across SCA, SHA (Saskatchewan Health Authority), eHealth, and Ministry of Health.
- Manage project scope, risks, dependencies, and timelines.
- Build and maintain a comprehensive project roadmap and risk register.
- Facilitate stakeholder meetings, ensuring follow-up and accountability.
- Maintain and present regular performance metrics and executive status reports.
- Support organizational readiness through structured change management.
- Develop charters, plans, and documentation where necessary.
- Ensure consistent intercity engagement between Saskatoon and Regina teams.
Education: Bachelor's in Health Admin, Business, Computer Science, or a related field.
Certifications: PMP preferred; PRINCE2 or Prosci an asset.
Experience: 7-10 years leading multi-stakeholder projects; 3-5 years in healthcare project environments.
Skills: Leadership, stakeholder engagement, risk & scope management, executive-level reporting, systems thinking, and integration.
- Strengthen existing project management frameworks and tools.
- Refine WBS, risk registers, and stakeholder communication plans.
- Ensure clear governance and documentation for SCA leadership.
