This Financial Analyst role provides a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact contributing to key financial decisions that influence operational excellence and business growth. Responsibilities
  • Financial Reporting & Analysis: Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance with internal standards. Identify trends variances and opportunities providing actionable insights to leadership teams.
  • Budgeting & Forecasting: Collaborate with departments to develop budgets forecasts and long-term financial plans. Utilize financial modeling tools and data analytics to support strategic planning and resource allocation.
  • Operational Support & Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional teams including operations, sales and supply chain to support financial initiatives and decision-making. Provide guidance and recommendations to improve operational efficiency and profitability.
  • Special Projects & Continuous Improvement: Assist in financial system implementations process improvements and ad-hoc projects as required. Support initiatives that enhance reporting accuracy, streamline processes and strengthen financial controls.
Qualifications
  • Education & Experience: A degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related field is preferred but not mandatory. 3-5 years of experience in financial analysis, preferably in heavy equipment manufacturing or related industries.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting tools; experience with ERP systems is an asset. Familiarity with financial modeling, budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis.
  • Key Competencies: Strong analytical, problem-solving and attention-to-detail skills. Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex financial data clearly. A proactive mindset with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
