Job Summary

The SAP Business Analyst will act as a strategic bridge between IT and business stakeholders, ensuring technology solutions effectively meet business needs. This role involves eliciting, analyzing, and documenting detailed requirements while leading testing, validation, and solution implementation activities that align with organizational goals for reliability and sustainability.

Key Responsibilities
  • Elicit and document detailed business and system requirements for acquisition, development, or enhancement projects.
  • Collaborate with business units, project managers, solution architects, developers, and third-party vendors.
  • Develop and maintain test approaches, strategies, and plans for functional, integration, and user acceptance testing.
  • Create and prioritize test scenarios to ensure proper coverage.
  • Lead test data requirements, creation, and defect management meetings.
  • Develop reports on test progress and final phase outcomes.
  • Perform activities such as business analysis planning, elicitation, requirements management, enterprise analysis, and solution validation.
  • Conduct business process analysis and modeling to support system and process enhancements.
  • Prepare detailed design and technical documentation, including interface design, data conversion, and acceptance criteria.
  • Identify operational impacts and coordinate regression testing for new solutions.
  • Manage user acceptance testing and facilitate knowledge transfer to operational support teams.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement through process enhancements and optimization recommendations.
Required Experience
  • Proven experience conducting detailed business and functional analysis within SAP environments.
  • Strong testing and documentation background with experience in manual test scripting, defect tracking, and reporting.
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams and managing concurrent initiatives.
  • Familiarity with the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
Nice-to-Have Experience
  • Previous work in utilities or large-scale infrastructure organizations.
  • Experience with requirements forecasting and enhancement prioritization.
  • Exposure to organizational change management processes.
