Our client is a software company based out of Markham and a leader in their field. They have selected ROSS (www.getROSS.com) to manage their recruitment process. ROSS is a team of People Specialists helping companies align their People Strategy with their business growth. We provide remote or onsite HR and Recruitment solutions such as Recruitment Process Outsourcing (RPO), complimented by leading edge open-source HRIS software.


The Account Executive, Finance will be a “hunter” with a proven track record of success in the Finance vertical. The successful candidate will show an ability to think creatively in both uncovering and proposing solutions to customers and prospects. The successful candidate will demonstrate a history of professionalism, teamwork and sales success.


OTE > $220k+


PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Using his/her understanding of the Canadian financial vertical and its business challenges, to establish and maintaining executive relationships with key clients and prospects.
  • Identifying and validating solution opportunities, working with appropriate members of our client’s team, and gaining client commitment to solutions.
  • Defining strategic solutions, while working with cross functional support and engineering teams, to deploy our clients software and data stacks as core banking solutions.
  • Utilize industry knowledge to aid in the creation and deployment of strategic marketing initiatives to the financial community.
  • Aid in the selection of strategic partners to further our clients penetration in the Canadian finance vertical.

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Follow up on new leads and referrals resulting from field and marketing activity.
  • Prepare presentations, proposals and sales contracts.
  • Establish and maintain current product knowledge.
  • Establish and maintain current client and potential client relationships.
  • Identify and resolve client concerns.
  • Prepare a variety of reports, including activity, closings, follow-up, and adherence to goals.
  • Communicate new product and service opportunities, special developments, information, or feedback gathered through field activity to appropriate company staff.
  • Coordinate company staff to accomplish the work required to close sales.
  • Maintain impeccable records in the company CRM; Salesforce.com.
  • Prepare and execute territory plans aligned with specific goals for the finance vertical.
  • Participate in marketing events such as seminars and tradeshow as required.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS
  • Understanding of the Canadian Financial Services industry, business strategies and competitive landscape.
  • Ability to persuade and influence others. Ability to develop and deliver presentations.
  • Ability to create, compose, and edit written materials. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Knowledge of advertising and sales promotion techniques.
  • Minimum three to five years of sales experience in the Canadian finance vertical.
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Visibility requires maintaining a professional appearance and providing a positive company image to the public.
  • Work requires significant local travel to current and potential clients.
  • Work requires willingness to work a flexible schedule and occasional overnight travel.
