A leading health and well-being provider is seeking an independent Critical Incident Counsellor in Pickering, Ontario. This role involves delivering on-site group critical incident debriefing to clients following traumatic events. Candidates should possess a Master's degree in a relevant field, significant clinical experience, and professional liability insurance. As an independently licensed counsellor, you will be providing Critical Incident Support on-site to TELUS Health clients

As a Critical Incident Counsellor, you will provide on-site group critical incident debriefing to TELUS Health\'s corporate clients in your area, on an as-needed basis. You will be working as an independent contractor based on your ability to accept assignments.
You will travel on-site to deliver critical incident response to groups of employees following a traumatic workplace event;
You will manage the administrative requirements as dictated by TELUS Health’s Critical Incident department.
You possess a master’s degree in Counselling, Psychology, or Social Work;
Active membership with a professional college or relevant governing board.
You have experience delivering group critical incident debriefing and/or running counselling groups;
You have the ability to convey sensitivity, professional manner and effective approach when facilitating interventions withinthecorporate environment;
You can demonstrate flexibility to respond to client needs;
CISM, CISD training or EMDR certification is an asset.
Minimum five (5) years of post-master’s clinical experience.
