Digital Marketing Specialist (Fully Remote – 7 Month Contract)

About The Role

The Digital Marketing Specialist will play a key role in supporting marketing initiatives across our brands and divisions across Canada. This full‑time contract position offers you the opportunity to build a strong market presence and drive measurable growth across digital channels. Training for the role will include four weeks of shadowing.

Reporting to the Director, Marketing and Customer Experience, you will be responsible for developing, executing, and managing innovative digital strategies. This role involves overseeing various digital channels and optimizing online marketing campaigns. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of digital and content marketing strategies, including web, social media, database management, video, SEO/SEM, and email campaigns. This is an excellent opportunity for a creative individual passionate about digital marketing, looking to build their career in an exciting, dynamic role.

This is a fixed‑term contract position to back‑fill a paternity leave from January 12 to August 14, 2026, with the possibility of extension. Compensation is an hourly rate of $32.00/hour based on a 37.5‑hour work week.

What You’ll Do
  • Plan, execute, and support web SEO/SEM, database marketing, email, social media, and CPC advertising campaigns.
  • Develop content and design and implement email campaigns (via Constant Contact).
  • Manage and update company marketing databases.
  • Manage client Net Promoter Score (NPS) system.
  • Identify trends and insights to optimize spending and performance.
  • Brainstorm new and creative growth strategies through digital marketing.
  • Plan, execute, and measure experiments and conversion tests.
  • Measure and report performance of all digital marketing campaigns (ROI and KPIs).
What You’ll Bring
  • A minimum of three (3) years of related experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, or related experience.
  • Knowledge of digital and content marketing best practices.
  • Experience in setting up and optimizing PPC campaigns on all major search engines.
  • Demonstrable experience managing SEO/SEM, marketing databases, email, social media and/or display advertising campaigns.
  • Solid knowledge of website and marketing analytics tools (e.g., Google Ads, Analytics GA4, Tag Manager, Looker Studio, Search Console, and SEMRush).
  • Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript development and constraints.
  • Familiarity with NPS systems and the Constant Contact email system is an asset.
