We’re hiring an Office Administrative Assistant for a short-term contract in Ottawa, starting immediately. This is a great opportunity to support a small, fast-paced team in a growing organization expanding into the Ottawa area. The ideal candidate is proactive, organized, and ready to jump in right away.

• Provide front-desk support including answering and redirecting phone calls
• Greet scheduled visitors and assist with light coordination of meetings
• Manage calendar and light executive support for one team leader
• Handle incoming/outgoing mail and monitor shared email inbox
• Post occasional updates and respond to messages on LinkedIn
• Support general office organization and coordination tasks
• Work independently with daily check-ins and clear direction from leadership
• Contribute to a collaborative team culture through visible task-sharing

• Previous experience in administrative, front desk, or office support roles
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Comfortable working with minimal supervision and adapting to changing priorities
• Professional, friendly, and articulate in person and over the phone
• Tech-savvy and familiar with basic office tools; social media experience is a plus
• Thrives in a startup-style environment with evolving processes and responsibilities
• Experience in hospitality, retail, or real estate environments is an asset
