A global sports organization is seeking a Host City Volunteer Coordinator in Toronto to enhance the volunteer experience for the FIFA World Cup 2026™. This role involves operational logistics, managing volunteer interactions, and ensuring a welcoming environment for participants. Candidates should possess strong communication skills, be proactive, and have a background in customer service or event management. The position requires commitment and adaptability to support the success of this prestigious event.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in venue operations or event management preferred.
- Ability to work on your feet for long hours in a fast-paced environment.
- Fluency in English; French proficiency is a plus.
Responsabilités
- Support logistics and operational readiness of the Volunteer Centre.
- Manage the welcome desk and create positive first impressions.
- Monitor food and beverage areas for volunteers and staff.
- Ensure a welcoming environment aligned with FIFA's standards.
