Overview of the role:

We are looking for a skilled Technician with Industrial Products experience to join our service team based in FAMCO,Abu Dhabi. This role will be responsible for servicing, overhauling, and troubleshooting Ingersoll Rand brand Air Compressors, Air Dryers, and related equipment. The ideal candidate will have project experience and be open to travel across the UAE and abroad, including Onshore/Offshore oil field platforms. This is a hands-on role for someone who thrives in dynamic, field-based environments and is passionate about customer care and technical excellence

What you will do:

• Conduct service, overhaul, and troubleshooting of air compressors, air dryers, airends, and related industrial products.
• Deliver service activities efficiently within sold labor hours with minimal redo work.
• Utilize strong mechanical and pneumatic product knowledge, including tools like Air Winches, Hoists, and other Ingersoll-Rand products.
• Maintain a high standard of customer service and communication in field operations.
• Support the broader service team with a positive attitude and effective reporting.
• Contribute to the team’s achievement of service labor and revenue targets.
• Participate in field service activities at client sites, including offshore platforms, onshore facilities, and international projects as needed

Required skills to be successful:

• Strong troubleshooting and mechanical skills specific to industrial air systems.
• Knowledge of Ingersoll-Rand products or similar industrial equipment.
• High efficiency in completing service tasks with minimal rework (target: 80% utilization, 2% redo).
• Ability to work independently on field assignments and manage time effectively.
• Clear communication skills in English, especially for technical reporting.
• A customer-focused mindset and team-oriented work ethic.
• Valid UAE driving license (preferred but not mandatory)

You will be part of a close-knit Industrial Products Service team based in Abu Dhabi. The team values knowledgesharing, customer satisfaction, and continuous improvement. With no direct reports, the focus of this role is purely hands-on service excellence, contributing directly to the team's success in delivering top-tier technical support and maintaining strong client relationships

What equips you for the role:

• Minimum ITI, Diploma, or Engineering Degree in Mechanical/Electrical from a government-recognized institute.
• 2–3 years of practical experience with a reputable franchised dealer/distributor or industrial service organization.
• Demonstrated proficiency in servicing and overhauling air compressors, dryers, and industrial air systems.
• A track record of field-based service success, especially in challenging or remote environments.
• A commitment to self-improvement, safety, and team success
